The Easy Way

The easiest way to generate ColdHooks is to use the 'Default' prompt. All new accounts come with the Default prompt that generates simple relatable email first lines. To use the Default prompt, your uploaded file needs to have the following data:

  1. Person's LinkedIn Url: The Linkedin Url of the prospect. This data will replace the {person_linkedin_url} variable in the prompt.

  2. Company Name: The Company Name of the prospect. This data will replace the {company_name} variable in the prompt.

Once you have your prospect's data ready, proceed with the following steps:

Upload CSV File

Go to 'File Uploads' Tab and press 'Upload New CSV' button. Only CSV files are accepted. An upload configuration dialogue will pop-up after successful validation of the file.

Upload Configuration

Add a Filename for your reference. Then select custom input cleaners, if required.

Prompt Configuration

Choose the Default prompt from the prompt dropdown.

All the variables used in the prompt are shown in 'Required Variables' dropdown. All the columns found in the uploaded file are shown in the 'File Columns' dropdown.

Select a variable and its corresponding file column. Then press 'Map'. The mapped variables will be added in the choice chips below. Repeat this process for all the required variables.

Confirm Upload

Press Confirm and you will receive an email notification to your registered email as soon as your file gets ColdHooked.
